We hired a Bell tent. We think it was excellent value for money. The location is perfect. the staff were very helpful, both on the phone and via email. The tent was spotless, well equipped and thoughtfully put together.

We had a truly wonderful time - the campsite was calm, intimate, pretty, with a sea view from our tent. The facilities were immaculately clean and close by. I noted one review talked about a long walk to the carpark??? Nonsense. Admittedly cars weren’t allowed on the field but a long walk it was not! There’s a handy little shop on site with a cake shed and a delicious and authentic Italian restaurant who fitted us in even though they were full. I’ve done a mix of glamping and camping adventures and this time we glamped in one of the bell tents which was fabulous, well equipped (fridge, kettle, lamp, crockery & cutlery etc) - cute, clean, spacious, comfy with high quality furnishings and bedding. It was a steal in comparison to what I’ve paid on other glamping experiences. The bring your own tenters looked like they were enjoying their campsite choice too. The site had a lovely, friendly atmosphere and we struck up chat with several passers-by! The local pub with local beers is a stroll away and a great one at that. We had their amazing pizza one night which you can have as a takeaway too to take back to your tent. There’s a village shop too. The beach is a 15-20 min walk and as at the bottom of the cliff, we maxed time and minimised effort by driving 2mins and parking! This is chargeable on exit but max you’ll pay is £10 a day. Not sure what these ‘scams were’ that I’ve seen in other reviews. Seemed fully legit to me. Beach shoes recommended as all shingle but as a result, the most stunning, crystal clear water awaits you. We were sad to leave but thankful we opted for Leonard’s Cove for our last minute adventure.

The site was in a stunning location and had a lovely feel about it. The bell tent was beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfy. We had a lovely stay.

I loved everything! The cosy tent was the cutest and so comfortable. I loved the décor and the seating area outside. I’m so glad you added this to your campsite—it was definitely worth the money! The bed was incredibly comfortable, even better than mine at home! I usually struggle to sleep and get comfortable in unfamiliar beds, but yours was an absolute dream. I also really appreciated that you provided both a firm and a soft pillow, so I could choose whichever suited me best. It’s such a thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable.
