HEAD HOUSEKEEPER

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Head Housekeeper to join the Leonards Cove Team. You will be responsible for managing a team of cleaners, ensuring that all of our properties are cleaned to the highest standard, exceeding guests’ expectation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Adhering to safe working practises for yourself and your team
– Leading and motivating the housekeeping team to prepare the accommodation for new guests
– Liaising with the General Manager and Maintenance Team to discuss new and ongoing projects within the park.
– Ordering linen and cleaning materials and supplies
– Overseeing the day to day running of a busy laundry
– Creating rotas, managing holidays and other leave for the housekeeping team
– Ensuring communal areas are kept clean and tidy with minimal disturbance to guests
– Recruiting, inducting, training and developing your team including 1:1s and appraisals.

OUR EXPECTATIONS
– You will have a keen eye for detail, ensuring extremely high standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times
– You will identify areas in need of improvement throughout the park and report these to the general manager
– During changeover days especially, you will work alongside your team in preparing the accommodation for new arrivals
– You will have excellent organisational skills, be able to prioritise and quickly adapt to changes throughout the day. Expect the unexpected!
– You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
