Dartmouth is situated in South Devon and is one of the most beautiful and stunning estuaries/ports in the world. It is still a bustling hive of boats and ships both naval and private. Anyone who has been to Dartmouth will never forget the quaint ferry which shuffles you from Kingswear over the River Dart to Dartmouth and vice versa. A naval connection with officer training at the Britannia naval college. Dartmouth is packed with yachts, cruiser and some of the most expensive boats you will ever see.

South of Dartmouth you pass through the village of Stoke Fleming to get to Blackpool Sands. Blackpool Sands has been voted in the top ten beaches in the United Kingdom by the Times newspaper. It is well justified, a beautiful cove great and safe for swimming children, you will be well catered for by the Venus café on the beach where they also run a restaurant during the summer months, a great location. Blue Flag award winner for cleanliness.
